INCI - Full Breakdown

Squalane is a more stable equivalent of Squalene. It is a very important component of our skin. It’s a major part of natural sebum that forms a protection barrier on the skin's surface. If the barrier isn’t strong enough, your skin will become more sensitive. Squalane helps to keep skin hydrated, protects it from the negative impact of the environment, lowers irritation, stimulates regeneration, and removes dryness. It is accepted by our skin very well and will not cause allergic reactions.

Glycerin is one of the most outstanding and helpful skincare components. It's used in many skincare products because it works and provides notable results. It's one of the best moisturizers. Molecules of Glycerin can absorb water and deliver it into deep layers of the skin making it hydrated.
Ceramide NP is one of the most important ceramides found naturally in human skin. It plays a key role in maintaining a strong, healthy moisture barrier — the skin’s protective shield. When this barrier is damaged, skin becomes dry, irritated, and more sensitive. It helps restore that balance.
In skincare formulas, the component works by filling in the microscopic gaps between skin cells, much like mortar between bricks. This strengthens the outer layer of the skin, reduces moisture loss, and enhances overall resilience. Products containing Ceramide NP are especially beneficial for dry, sensitive, or compromised skin, including conditions like irritation from over-exfoliating or cold weather exposure.
Its biggest advantage is biocompatibility: Ceramide NP closely mimics the skin’s own natural ceramides, making it highly effective and well-tolerated. When combined with cholesterol and fatty acids, its performance is even better, helping to rebuild the lipid barrier more efficiently.
Overall, Ceramide NP is a gentle yet powerful ingredient that supports long-term skin health by reinforcing hydration, smoothing texture, and improving the skin’s ability to protect itself.

Reviews
Sunday Riley is a well-known brand. That’s why I decided to try its ICE Ceramide Moisturizing Cream. And… I am disappointed. It smells like a medicine. On the one hand, this indicates that there are no fragrances inside, but on the other, not all people will enjoy the smell. I am okay with the smell and it's not the reason for my disappointment. The cream is rather thick and is difficult to spread on the skin. That’s why it’s easy to apply much more cream than you really need. But even if you apply enough and do not "overdose", it leaves a filmy feeling after it soaks in. Maybe that’s the reason why I faced clogged pores after a week of daily usage. I didn’t use it too much but still noticed that the pores started to clog. It's hard to imagine what would happen to my skin if I used it more often. One more issue was that it was difficult to apply the makeup over the creme. The makeup didn’t sit where it had to be. Overall, my experience with this product was negative. I don’t think I will buy it again.
