Origin: natural
Role: Solvent
EWG Rating [ 1 ]

Water is a great solvent. It’s neutral and doesn’t provide any strong positive or negative effects. It just helps components to mix better and to transport active components.

Pros: Hydrates the skin, calms down irritation, easy to apply
Cons: Expensive

There are 2 variants of the cream: light and rich. They are very similar but the Rich is thicker and is better if you suffer from dryness. The light one is good for combination or oily skin. I decided to go with the lighter variant. I use it in the morning and evening. It has a pleasant texture and it’s not too thick. It’s not super light, somewhere in the middle. What I like is that it doesn’t contain too many fragrances and it doesn’t smell too strong. It’s easy to apply and soaks in quickly without leaving a film or oily feeling. In the morning I prefer to apply it 30 minutes before going outside. It makes my skin more hydrated. It has a medium moisturizing effect, not too strong, but still enough for me. The skin becomes soft and pleasant to touch. It removes small irritations and can calm down the skin a little. I am 100% satisfied with the result and will repurchase it.
