Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Oil isn’t a new product, I have seen it multiple times in different stores. But decided to try not so long ago. The product is rather pricey and there are cheaper cleansing oils on the market. But anyway, I decided to give it a try. The bottle is made of plastic and it’s transparent, you can see how much oil is left. That’s good. The bottle and the pump don’t look cheap. As for the oil itself, it’s a transparent liquid which turns a little bit white when it comes in contact with water. Does it work? Yes and no, depending on what you are going to remove. In my case, I wasn’t able to remove waterproof mascara from my eyebrows. I tried several times but without good results. Yes, the manufacturer doesn’t say that it’s an eye makeup remover, but you can read on the bottle that it’s good for removing any type of makeup. Despite its failure to remove waterproof mascara, the product works great when it comes to removing BB or CC creams, powders, and so on. It removes them fine, makes the pores look clean and the skin look fresh. I like how it works against regular facial makeup. My final verdict: it’s not the best product in its price range. It would be good if the price was cheaper. But I expect a much better product for the money it costs.
