Sodium Lauryl Sulfate is a surfactant. It helps cosmetic products to remove all the sebum and dirt from your skin. Water can't dissolve sebum on its own because sebum contains oils. Surfactants help water get into sebum and wash off all the unnecessary stuff from your skin.
The component also helps to form a nice foam. The foam allows to spread the product evenly. which is important for good cleansing.
Cocamidopropyl Betaine is a pH 4.5-5.5 liquid that is used to improve the overall efficiency of the formulation. It’s usually combined with different surfactants and is used because of its cleansing efficiency. It helps to remove sebum and dirt from the skin and hair. It also works as a foaming agent helping to make a pleasant foam.

It’s safe, but people with eczema or a history of skin allergies should use this component with attention.
Salicylic Acid is an amazing component for oily skin. It’s a famous BHA that chemically exfoliates dead cells, kills bacteria, and prevents acne. It works as a strong pores cleanser. AHAs are not effective for removing sebum from pores, while BHAs are leaders in this space. Salicylic Acid also helps to shrink pores, remove acne scars and make skin tone even. The component can also whiten the skin and remove dark areas.
It can be an irritator due to its naturally lower pH level of 2.2. But manufacturers also use it as a pH adjuster so in most cases you will not have any issues.
